OK, this should be an entrepreneur’s mantra, especially women leading companies and trying to balance all of the other demands placed on women.
It was written by Inge Geerdens, an entrepreneur writing for Linked In under the Thought Leader section.
We’re reasonably impressed by the Linked in efforts in becoming Thought Leaders, but this blogpost is a little disengenious.
The problem we have with it is that not until the third paragraph is it disclosed that Inge has a house husband, which is why she’s free to pursue her business interests as much as she wants. Don’t misunderstand: we think the concept of a house husband is just fine: we’ve had several female clients who had them.
And, she really has no idea how to really balance all the conflicting demands on her time, except to have a house husband, so one asks, ‘why is she so smart?’
We have a lot more admiration for single women, especially those with children, who are leading business enterprises without the support of a partner.
Anyway, if you female entrepreneurs want to take issue with us, here’s the link to the post: http://www.linkedin.com/today/post/article/20130513162515-44558-i-m-not-balancing-work -and-life-i-feel-great
