We thought we’d put up some comments on Pamela Vaughn’s post on Hubspot about mobile Facebook ads, which was done on 10/31. Our esteemed interenet colleague, Lee Steele, has decamped to Mexico for a year-long change of scenery, but he’s back up and running by virtue of the internet and Skype, and he did send us a terse email before he left that Facebook ads on any platform have some attraction for retailers, but not for business to business.
And that’s the big problem with Pamela’s post….it doesn’t distinguish between retail and business target markets. There’s no real discussion of entrepreneurial demographics, either; younger b2b marketers might feel differently, and have different results, than those of us who’ve been around awhile.
So, if you’re a retailer and online, there’s some evidence that Facebook will work.
