Scott Adams on Entrepreneurship

An interesting article appeared in the Wall Street Journal last weekend about Scott Adams (creator of Dilbert) journey with a BA and an MBA, to becoming a cartoonist, and a good one. However, there are things that he didn’t discuss:
1. When did he know that he wanted to become a cartoonist?
2. What was his family history. e.g., small business owners, artists, etc.
3. Did he always draw?
In other words, despite his harsh critique of formal education, how did he get to where he wanted to start a comic strip? I’m sure his parents were initially mortified, with an MBA that they probably paid for, but I would imagine that they’re now quite proud.
Honest up, Scott, write us a note about answers to these and other questions. Inquiring minds want to know.
