7 Reasons Your Brand Will Never Be As Awesome as Applie

We’re not  sure who wrote this post, but it’s not bad, aside from the negative reinforcement. It has to do with awesome products (not necessarily cutting edge ones) and customer service. Apple products are good, and they focus group the hell out of them (we know of participants, who are sworn to secrecy), but their customer service, although good, is a little beleaguered at the moment. Have you waited in line in an Apple store?

Anyway, the 7 traits are all good ones that should be incorporated into your thinking about your products or services…..you can always improve.

Better to buy the product and get someone who knows it, such as a wireless carrier or p.c. repair person. Apple didn’t know what to do to fix a download problem we encountered recently with IO6, but my local ATT store did. Props to them.

There was another post criticizing Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple for admitting they goofed on their maps app. Yes, it’s a disaster, partially saved by the fact that they finally got voice, two years behind Android.

It takes a courageous CEO to admit, in front of the world, the flaws in a product and that they’re going to fix them. Most CEOs, faced with this situation, hide under their desks or can’t be found. Better to take the short term hit on p.r.
