One of our esteemed competitors, ClassesUSA sent us a teaser email that if you are unemployed, you might be eligible for a grant to cover the cost of their classes.
Interesting idea….probably nothing more than a come-on done for some formal educational institution to develop their email marketing lists.
However, it got us thinking, because we had been meaning to write a post on crowdfunding anyway. Kickstarter, one of the leaders in the crowdfunding arena, gets around US securities and investment regulations by saying that those who give their subscribers money are making a ‘donation’, which is a clever way of putting it.
So, putting two and two together, which we are wont to do periodically, if you readers out there were to go to Kickstarter and put up your idea, including the cost of our classes, or excluding the idea and just going for the classes, you might do it. Their average ‘donation’ is more than the cost of our top four courses. and if you mention ‘Kickstarter’ in your coure registration, we’ll give you the top four courses for $99.
Give it a go, world.
