5 Common Misconceptions About Social Media — and Why They Are Not True

Monika Jansen on Sept. 6th wrote a good post on common misconceptions about social media, and why they’re not true.

We liked it (not formally, as on Facebook, because it didn’t have a ‘like’ link), but we thought the points were well made. The big misconception, of course, is that social media isn’t effective. It is, but like everything else, it has to have goals.

Another key point, that isn’t made often enough, is that sales from social media efforts should be expected, otherwise, why do them?
