A J Kumar, who writes often and well, had a recent post in entrepreneur.com on hiring an SEO consultant for your web site. You might be tempted to do this yourself, but the key to web success these days is getting found, not web design, and good SEO consultants are worth what you pay them. We’d add a couple of things:
1. Make sure there’s a match between your product/service lines, meta tags on your web site and SEO terms. It’s easy to get these misaligned.
2. A good SEO consultant will be proactive in suggesting changes to your SEO, not just giving you a report at the end of the month. Some don’t even do reports.
