But, as it grows, what do you do? Josh says adopt a ‘passive’ leadership style….delegate more, get involved less.<\/p>\n
Good idea to delegate, but it’s hardly passive: you set goals, give people who work for you tasks) and oversee completion. You’re providing direction, and you’re involved. Not my definition of ‘passive’.<\/p>\n
Delegation is also a good training ground for future directors and managers at your company: do they get things done, done on time, with some element of imagination to accomplishment?<\/p>\n
