Monika Jansen on Sept. 6th wrote a good post on common misconceptions about social media, and why they’re not true.<\/p>\n
We liked it (not formally, as on Facebook, because it didn’t have a ‘like’ link), but we thought the points were well made. The big misconception, of course, is that social media isn’t effective. It is, but like everything else, it has to have goals.<\/p>\n
Another key point, that isn’t made often enough, is that sales from social media efforts should be expected, otherwise, why do them?<\/p>\n
