The federal government has several thousand empty buildings, and they aren’t for some reason selling them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, why not put the homeless in them? After they’re deloused and treated for any other communicable diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The feds should charge, or reduce aid to the states where it sets up homeless in their new homes. Such a charge might inspire to the states to take charge of the situation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some of the homeless might have usable skills, too, so they can be tested to find out. After all, we have something like 7 million unfilled jobs in this country, and we’ve got a modest talent pool in the homeless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, let’s hope that someone in Housing and Urban Development is reading this post, or is given it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
