Watch Out for Cyber Liability

We found out recently that we could add cyberliability coverage to our business insurance package.

What this means is that if someone hacks your company, and you loose or have data compromised, you can be compensated for all restoration costs.

Rather like fire and water damage coverage for your data that you have residing inside your company or, more often, in the cloud. And it’s a world-wide problem.

Talk to your insurance agent. I know of at least one insurance company in the Phoenix area that’s writing it.
