{"id":869,"date":"2013-08-01T11:01:00","date_gmt":"2013-08-01T18:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theasoe.com\/blog\/?p=869"},"modified":"2013-08-01T11:01:00","modified_gmt":"2013-08-01T18:01:00","slug":"how-to-find-free-or-low-cost-training-for-new-business-owners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.theasoe.com\/blog\/?p=869","title":{"rendered":"How to Find Free or Low Cost Training for New Business Owners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sarah Needleman, writing in the Wall Street Journal online site, wsj.com, has done a good post on finding low cost or free assistance if you&#8217;re just starting your business.<\/p>\n<p>We as the American School didn&#8217;t get mentioned in the article, but we&#8217;ve since contacted Sarah and gotten ourselves into the chat room for wsj.com, which appears to be pretty literate.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah&#8217;s central point is that one doesn&#8217;t need to enroll in a four year college to find all the help one needs in starting a business&#8230;.there&#8217;s a lot of free stuff out there in webinars, courses, etc. In fact, 90% of those starting businesses don&#8217;t do it through schools&#8230;.they just do it, (hopefully with some market research beforehand) and either find help or just blunder along.<\/p>\n<p>Even local libraries are getting in on the action, at least in Brooklyn.
