We thought we’d put up some comments on Pamela Vaughn’s post on Hubspot about mobile Facebook ads, which was done on 10\/31. Our esteemed interenet\u00a0colleague, Lee Steele, has decamped to Mexico for a year-long change of scenery, but he’s back up and running by virtue of the internet and Skype, and he did send us a terse email before he left that Facebook ads on any platform have some attraction for retailers, but not for business to business.<\/p>\n
And that’s the big problem with Pamela’s post….it doesn’t distinguish between retail and business target markets. There’s no real discussion of entrepreneurial demographics, either; younger b2b marketers might feel differently, and have different results,\u00a0than those of us who’ve been around awhile.<\/p>\n
So, if you’re a retailer and online, there’s some evidence that Facebook will work.<\/p>\n
